My jou ey into web design and development started from curiosity. I was fascinated by how websites worked—how simple lines of code could tu into interactive, user-friendly pages.
I began lea ing the basics: HTML for structure, CSS for styling, and JavaScript to bring websites to life. At first, I built a personal portfolio, applying what I lea ed in class. From there, I started experimenting with UI mockups, responsive layouts, and basic UX concepts.
One of the highlights was designing a website mockup for local maritime MSMEs in the Riau Islands. The project gave me real context on how web platforms can help communities. I also created mock designs for a vehicle repair website and other student projects, all focusing on both functionality and visual clarity.
Through these experiences, I lea ed that good web design is not just about how things look—it’s about how they work and how users feel when interacting with them. I continue to explore, build, and lea , one project at a time.
